On July 7th we took the kids over to get swim lessons from my sister Missy. She became a certified swim instructor this summer. There isn't much she could teach them because of their age, so they worked on the basics. First she was trying to get them to float on their backs in the water. As you can tell Carson was not loving it at first...(it looks like Missy is choking him in this picture! :))
But he got more comfortable and did pretty good after that!
Morgan was a champ!! She was so calm and loved to float on her back!
Then they worked on kicking.
Missy was great with them in the water. She said that next summer is when they will really learn how to swim on their own, so that will be fun!!
Bailey just enjoyed watching and playing on the step!
Then all the kids rested in the hammock. They were so funny!
Thanks for all your help Missy...you are the best!!
